Good floater, it was originally created to imitate the many caterpillars accidentally falling from the trees branches and leaves overhanging the stream. It’s highly visible both in shadowed and sunny water thanks to the double and contrasting colors of the hackle. For better buoyancy, the front (white) hackle should be a little longer than the back brown hackle.
