river-in-winterAs a rule, rivers and streams in Tuscia have high levels and water has the color of chocolate due to the heavy rain. Flies and water insects are “silent” and fish remain calm, near the bottom as if they were sleeping for the whole day but this happens only for a few weeks. Except in the coldest days (january/february), fishing offers good chances in the quietest runs for chub while pike accept great size streamers fished along the bottom of the lakes, not far from the bank.
